Our Junior High curriculum prepares students for successful transition to our high school. We develop students' rhetorical skills both in classroom discussions and formal presentations and in essay writing, with the standards for high school Advanced Placement in mind. Our science curriculum affords students a bedrock foundation for advanced science studies in high school, and our fine arts program ensures a comparable foundational exposure to art history and studio art techniques.
We emphasize the development of Christian character through the considerate behavior we expect of our students, complemented by a Bible curriculum in which discussions of biblical figures and concepts support the moral and spiritual values of our constituent families. ·In the quest for excellence, Texas Christian School enters its students in a variety of state wide academic and fine art competitions.
