Reading, Writing, and Phonics
A primary goal of Pre-school is to allow children to develop a love of reading and writing. TCS teachers practice a phonics approach to reading through the ABeka curriculum because we believe that the rules of phonics will provide children with the basic tools for decoding words. Reading groups are fashioned so that each student can perform at their own pace.
Curriculum: ABeka readers, leveled books, Accelerated Reader
